우분투 설치 후 설정하기(작성 중)

어제 페도라 13 beta를 설치했다가 우분투 부트로더를 잃어버려서 밤새 10.04RC 버전으로 새로 깔았습니다. 페도라 13 베타르 설치해 보니 한글 2008 설치도 어떻게 하는지 모르겠고,
동영상 재생도 코덱을 받아서 설치를 못해서 제대로 실행이 안 되더군요.
결국 데스크탑용 리눅스는 우분투가 제격인 모양입니다.

이 글은 초보자를 위한 설명서라기 보다는 제가 매번 우분투를 새로 설치할 때마다 해야하는 설정을 이곳에 정리하여 한 번에 일목요연하게 설정하여 사용하기 위합입니다.

1. Dropbox 설치
getDropbox

2. 파이어폭스 - Adobe Flash Player 설치

4. 노틸러스 설정
편집-기본설정에서

보기에서 숨김/백업 파일 보기, 아이콘 보기 기본값에서 빈틈없는 배치에 체크한다.

동작탭에서 휴지통-휴지통을 거치지 않는 삭제 명령 포함에도 체크한다.

표시탭에서 아이콘 설명의 첫번째 표시를 크기로 바꾸면 아래 그림처럼 파일의 크기를 노틸러스에서 바로 확인이 가능하다.

8. 이미지 뷰어 gThumb 설치
우분투 10.04를 설치하면 F-Spot 사진 관리자가 설치되어 있다.
간단한 이미지 뷰어 및 편집이 가능하다.
하지만 한 두 장이라면 괜찮지만 많은 사진을 일일이 수정하고 화질 개선을 하려니 좀 불편하다. 이럴 땐 gThumb를 사용하면 편다다.
설치는 터미널에서 간단하게 아래 명령어를 입력한다.

$ sudo apt-get install gThumb

Ctrl+Shitf+E를 누르면 Enhance(화질개선)가 실행된다.

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx)

This directory contains the most frequently downloaded Ubuntu images. Other images, including DVDs and source CDs, may be available on the cdimage server. See also the list of download mirrors.

Select an image

Ubuntu is distributed on four types of images described below.

Desktop CD

The desktop CD allows you to try Ubuntu without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. This type of CD is what most people will want to use. You will need at least 256MB of RAM to install from this CD.

There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:

PC (Intel x86) desktop CD: For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc type processors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well as newer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
64-bit PC (AMD64) desktop CD: Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the Intel x86 images instead.

Server install CD

The server install CD allows you to install Ubuntu permanently on a computer for use as a server. It will not install a graphical user interface.

There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:

PC (Intel x86) server install CD: For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc type processors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well as newer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
64-bit PC (AMD64) server install CD: Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the Intel x86 images instead.

Alternate install CD

The alternate install CD allows you to perform certain specialist installations of Ubuntu. It provides for the following situations:

setting up automated deployments;
upgrading from older installations without network access;
LVM and/or RAID partitioning;
installs on systems with less than about 256MB of RAM (although note that low-memory systems may not be able to run a full desktop environment reasonably).

In the event that you encounter a bug using the alternate installer, please file a bug on the debian-installer package.

The live image allows you to try Ubuntu Netbook Edition without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. This live image is optimized for netbooks with screens up to 10". You will need at least 256MB of RAM to install from this image.

There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:

Marvell Dove netbook live image: For Dove boards.
Freescale i.MX51 netbook live image: For i.MX51 boards.

우분투 재설치(배포판 업) 시 포맷 안하고 빨리 설치 하기

*아래 글은 우분투 한국 사용자 모임의 강분도님의 게시물입니다.

간단히 말하자면 라이브로 부팅후 개인 파일만 뻬고 나머진 싹 지우고 설치 하기 입니다.

현재 설치된 패키지 목록 저장
- sudo dpkg --get-selections | grep -v deinstall > /home/install.txt
라 이브 부팅후 터미널에서 보존 파일 백업
- sudo -i (루트 변신)
- mount /dev/sd?? /mnt && cd mnt (리눅스 설치된 파티션 마운트)
- mv /mnt/home/유저아이디 /mnt/home/유저아이디-bak (개인 홈 백업)
- 그외에 다른 폴더에 개인 파일 들이 있다면 역시 백업을 ... 예) mv /mnt/usr/local/bin /mnt/home/usr/local/bin , ...
- rm -rf bin etc initrd.img lost+found sbin tmp var boot lib opt root usr vmlinuz (기존 폴더 & 파일 지우기)
- cd / && umount /dev/sd?? (언 마운트)
설치진행
- 아까 마운트한 sd?? 선택 후 파 티션 포멧에 체크 뻬고 마운트 지점을 / 로 지정하며 설치... (이부분이 중요합니다.)
설치 후 재부팅 하여
- sudo dpkg –-set-selections < /home/install.txt (이전에 설치한 패키지 재설치)
- 노틸러스 에서 백업된 /home/유저아이디-bak 에서 가져오면서 새 우분투에 필요한 것들을 설정합니다.

나 중 전부 완료 되면 /home/유저아이디-bak 는 지워도 되겠죠

Install/live DVD
The combined install/live DVD allows you either to install Ubuntu permanently on a computer, or (by entering 'live' at the boot prompt) to try Ubuntu without changing your computer at all.There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:
PC (Intel x86) install/live DVD
For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc type processors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well as newer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
64-bit PC (AMD64) install/live DVD
Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the Intel x86 images instead.

우분투 10.04 에 오픈오피스 3.2 한자사전 설치하기

Hanja_20071122.zip

1. 파일을 다운로드받아 압축을 풉니다.
2. 메뉴에서 [도구] → [언어] → [한글/한자 변환]
(뭔가 변환할 단어가 존재해야 대화상자가 뜰 겁니다)
3. 대화상자에서 [옵션] 버튼 누름
4. 사용자 정의 사전 대화상자에서 [새로 만들기...] 누르고
이름을 'Hanja'로 준 다음에 [확인] 누르고 대화상자를 빠져 나옴.
이렇게 하면, 우분투(리눅스)의 경우

/home/사용자계정/.openoffice.org/3/user/wordbook

디렉터리 아래에 Hanja.tcd 파일이 생깁니다.

5. OOo를 종료하고 빠른 실행까지 다 종료한 다음에 Hanja.tcd 파일을 첨부된 파일로 바꿉니다.
6. 다시 OOo를 실행시키고 한글/한자 변환을 합니다.
이 때 대화상자에서 [한 글자씩 변환] 옵션을 끄면 사전을 쓸 수 있습니다.

알려진 문제:

작업 표시줄에서 초점이 이동되면 닫히지 않습니다. 미디어 디텍터 메뉴를 불러온 경우 메뉴를 사라지게 하려면 Picasa를 시작하거나 미디어 디텍터를 중지해야 합니다.
이 버전의 Linux용 Picasa는 동영상 파일을 지원하지 않습니다.
Picasa 고지사항이 특정 데스크톱에 보관되지 않습니다. Picasa는 사용자에게 새 사진을 찾거나 사진이 라이브러리에 추가되었음을 알리는 고지사항을 표시합니다. 이러한 고지 사항은 현재 데스크톱에만 표시되므로 고지사항이 필요로 하는 일부 사용자의 경우 Picasa가 실행 중인 데스크톱을 그대로 사용해야 합니다.
일부 BlogThis! 기능이 맞춤법 검사기, 팔레트 선택기 및 새로운 계정 URL 테스터와 같이 Picasa에 삽입된 브라우저 창에서 제대로 작동하지 않습니다.
슬라이드쇼 중에는 음악이 재생되지 않습니다.
NFS 장착 홈 디렉토리가 있으면 성능이 저하될 수 있습니다. Picasa는 ~/.picasa 디렉토리에 있는 많은 파일을 사용하므로 홈 디렉토리가 느리면 Picasa도 느려집니다. /var/opt/picasa/$USERNAME/에서 사용자 이름에 해당하는 디렉토리를 만들어 문제를 해결할 수 있습니다. 디렉토리에 대한 전체 권한이 있어야 합니다.
일부 인화 업체(예: Photobox)가 제대로 작동하지 않습니다.
멀티 모니터 디스플레이에서 일부 인터페이스 요소가 제대로 표시되지 않습니다. 현재는 Xinerama를 완전히 지원하지 않습니다.
'옵션' 대화상자에서 설정이 선택되어 있는 경우에도 슬라이드쇼 및 시간 순서대로 보기가 24비트 수준 X 서버에서 실행될 때 전체화면 이미지로 표시되지 않습니다.

unzip 6.0 CP949 문제 ( reandr )
MS에서 압축한 한글 파일명을 풀려할 때
unzip 6.0은 깨져 풀리게 되는데 reandr님에 제시한 방법이 제일 유용하다 봅니다.

터미널서 sudo gedit /usr/local/bin/kozip 으로 파일 생성하여 내용을

2. root로 하겠다.(된다면 터미널에서 하는 번거러움이 없었으면 좋겠지만, 어쩔 수 없다.^^)
desktop:~$ sudo -s
Password: (비번을 쓴다.)

3. alien이 없으면 alien을 깐다.(alien이 있으면 이 단계는 넘어간다.)
desktop:~# apt-get install alien

4. 한글 2008 CD를 넣고 모든 꾸러미를 하드로 복사한다.
바탕화면에 "hwp2008"이라는 방을 만들어 그리로 복사했다. 아래는, 그 기준으로 설명한다.

5. RPM 꾸러미를 복사한 방에 가서 잘 복사했는지 본다.

6. alien으로 rpm들을 deb으로 바꾼다.
alien -k *.rpm

7. deb 꾸러미를 깐다.
dpkg -i *.deb

8. 구글에서 getlibs-all.deb을 검색하여 깐다.
첨부 꾸러미 1 :getlibs-all.deb

9. 아래 라이브러리를 깐다.
desktop:~/바탕화면/hwp2008/RPMS# getlibs -l libqt-mt.so.3

10. 링크를 걸어준다.
desktop:~/바탕화면/hwp2008/RPMS# ln -s /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3

11. libcrypto.so.6 을 검색하여 rpm 꾸러미를 받는다. 여기에서 초기 한글 rpm 꾸러미가 있는 곳(/바탕화면/hwp2008/RPMS)으로 받았다.(오픈소스인 것 같아 이 꾸러미도 첨부한다.)
첨부 꾸러미 2 : openssl-0.9.8g-sni.SEL5_2.i386.rpm

12. 받은 openssl-0.9.8g-sni.SEL5_2.i386.rpm 꾸러미를 deb로 바꾼다.
desktop:~/바탕화면/hwp2008/RPMS# alien -k openssl-0.9.8g-sni.SEL5_2.i386.rpm

13. 바꾼 꾸러미를 깐다.
desktop:~/바탕화면/hwp2008/RPMS# dpkg -i openssl_0.9.8g-sni.SEL5_2_i386.deb

*$date -s 2009/1/1/ 이런 식으로 날짜를 바꾸면 체험판도 쓸 수 있다고 한다.

* 설치 후 실행이 잘 안되는 경우
